Oct 16 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes opened

higher on Thursday, driven by an upbeat quarterly update from

TSMC that added to investor optimism around AI and extended a

rally in chip stocks.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 35.8 points, or

0.08%, at the open to 46289.09. The S&P 500 rose 18.0

points, or 0.27%, to 6689.02​, while the Nasdaq Composite

rose 94.3 points, or 0.42%, to 22764.398.
