Sept 25 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes opened
lower on Thursday, as fresh economic data and remarks from a
Federal Reserve official tempered optimism around further rate
cuts.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 23.8 points, or
0.05%, at the open to 46,097.43. The S&P 500 fell 29.8
points, or 0.45%, to 6,608.19, while the Nasdaq Composite
dropped 179.1 points, or 0.80%, to 22,318.766.
