June 2 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes opened
lower on Tuesday after hitting a series of record highs, while
blowout results from Hewlett Packard Enterprise ( HPE ) and a funding
commitment from Alphabet underscored investor confidence in the
AI buildout.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 166.0 points,
or 0.33%, at the open to 50,912.84. The S&P 500 fell 4.6
points, or 0.06%, at the open to 7,595.4, while the Nasdaq
Composite dropped 56.7 points, or 0.21%, to 27,030.072
at the opening bell.
