The S&P 500 and Nasdaq were up 0.3%, while the Dow Jones gained 0.2%.
Most Asian markets closed in the red, while major European bourses were up midday.
Early movers include MicroStrategy (MSTR), which was up 3.4% pre-bell, and MicroCloud Hologram (HOLO), which was still advancing after closing Monday with a 167% surge.
Procaps Group (PROC) and Scilex Holding (SCLX) are among the companies expected to release their quarterly reports within the day.
On the economic calendar, the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller home price index and the Federal Housing Finance Agency House Price Index will be reported at 9 am ET.
In premarket action, Bitcoin traded at $93,930.51, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 0.8% at $71.52, and 10-year US Treasuries offered 4.52%. Spot gold traded for $2,613.02 an ounce.
