Wall Street opens higher after strong payrolls data

(Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes opened higher on Friday after a crucial labor report eased concerns about a rapid cooldown in the jobs market, while investors remained vigilant for potential escalations in the Middle East conflict.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 236.7 points, or 0.56%, at the open to 42,248.26. The S&P 500 rose 37.5 points, or 0.66%, at the open to 5,737.48​, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 211.9 points, or 1.18%, to 18,130.421 at the opening bell.
