07:44 AM EDT, 10/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- WeRide's ( WRD ) American depositary shares closed with an increase of nearly 7% on Friday following its debut on the Nasdaq Global Market, under the stock symbol "WRD".

The Chinese company said Monday that it expects the total proceeds of its initial public offering to amount to $458.5 million, assuming that underwriters fully exercise their option.

WeRide's ( WRD ) ADSs were up nearly 4% in recent Monday premarket activity.
