In a little more than two months the United States will have a new government helmed by Joe Biden. In the run-up to the election, the Biden campaign had stated that he will deliver on his long-standing belief that India and the United States are natural partners and that high priority will be placed on strengthening the US-India relationship.
Trade is one of the key areas that both countries have been trying to increase co-operation in. Rituparna Bhuyan highlights the trade and investment agenda that both countries will have to restart when Joe Biden takes over.
