As Diwali 2023 approaches, the automotive industry reflects on a year of exciting launches. This Diwali special highlights the top 10 cars that have made a significant impact this year.

The Hyundai Verna, one of India’s favourite compact sedans, received a generational update this year. Despite initial controversy over its bold styling, it dominated the segment in sales, outperforming all rivals.

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny, a highly anticipated off-roader, finally arrived in India in 2023. The Indian market also received a more practical 5-door version, enhancing its daily usability.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx marked the return of the brand’s 1-litre Boosterjet engine, known for its versatility and fun driving experience. The Fronx, with its stunning design, especially at night, is one of the best-looking Maruti cars to date.

The 2023 Kia Seltos made headlines this year with its improved design, luxurious interior, and extensive features. It also boasts a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, offering impressive performance.

The Hyundai Exter was launched as a competitor to the successful Tata Punch. With its attractive design, practical cabin, and refined powertrain, it has managed to make a significant impact.

The Honda Elevate had a lot riding on its launch to revive the Japanese carmaker’s fortunes. With its straightforward design, comprehensive features, and reliable 1.5-litre petrol engine, it received a successful response.

The 2023 Tata Nexon, one of India’s best sellers, was enhanced further this year. With its stunning design, comprehensive features, and multiple trims and powertrain options, there’s a Nexon for everyone.

The Tata Nexon EV, one of India’s most popular EVs, offers even better features than its ICE counterpart, including a larger infotainment system and increased range.

Earlier this year, Tata surprised everyone with the launch of the 2023 Harrier. With its striking design, especially in bright yellow, updated styling, and numerous new features, it certainly made an impact.

Finally, alongside the new Harrier, Tata also launched the updated 2023 Safari facelift. With distinctive styling, new features, and an updated cabin, it complements the Harrier perfectly.
