Bhavani is an Assembly constituency in the Erode district, in the West region of Tamil Nadu.

In the 2016 Assembly elections, Bhavani was won by KC Karuppannan of AIADMK.

Before that, in the 2011 elections, the seat was held by PG Narayanan of AIADMK.

In the 2016 assembly polls, KC Karuppannan garnered 85,748 votes, securing over 45.38 percent of the vote share, and winning the seat by a margin of 24,887 votes.

In percentage terms, the victory margin was 13.17 percent.

The constituency polled 1,89,013 votes in the 2016 Tamil Nadu assembly polls with a voter turnout of 82.88 percent.

The Bhavani constituency has a literacy level of 72.96 percent.

A total of 16 candidates stood in the 2016 elections.
