Bihar election 2020: Nitin Nabin of BJP wins

Veteran Bollywood actor Shatrughan Sinha’s son and Congress candidate Luv Sinha lost to Nitin Nabi of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) - a three-time MLA- in Bankipur.

Luv has made his political debut from Congress in Bankipur seat, which is a part of the Patna Sahib Lok Sabha constituency that elected his father twice to the parliament in 2009 and 2014.

While Nabi got 83,068 votes, Luv Sinha got 44,032 votes.

Meanwhile, Pushpam Priya Choudhary of The Plurals Party bagged 5,189 votes.

Bankipur is an Assembly/Vidhan Sabha seat in Magadh region and Patna district of Bihar.
