Days after the announcement of Lok Sabha election results that gave a decisive mandate to the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), the official Twitter handle of the Congress social media head Divya Spandana, known for targeting the BJP, has gone missing from the micro-blogging site.
A search for @divyaspandana on the micro-blogging site says "Sorry, that page doesn't exist!". There has been no official confirmation on the reason behind the Twitter account going missing.
In April, the Congress national spokesperson and its media cell convenor, Priyanka Chaturvedi, left the party for Shiv Sena.
The BJP cornered 303 seats in the recently-concluded general elections, while its allies in NDA added a further 50 seats to take the tally to 353. Ṭhe Prime Minister Narendra Modi took charge for a second five-year term on Thursday
Spandana was among the Congress leaders who took jibes at the BJP leaders in the lead up to the Lok Sabha elections, on Twitter.
