Darjeeling is an Assembly constituency in the Darjeeling district, in the North Bengal region of West Bengal. The Darjeeling constituency went to polls on April 17, 2021.
Independent candidate Keshav Raj Sharma is leading. He is followed by BJP candidate Neeraj Tamang Zimba. The assembly seat is reserved for the General category.

In the 2016 Assembly elections, Darjeeling was won by Amar Singh Rai of GNLF.Before that, in the 2011 elections, the seat was held by Trilok Kumar Dewan of GOJAM.In the 2016 assembly polls, Amar Singh Rai garnered 95386 votes, securing over 59.85 percent of the vote share, and winning the seat by a margin of 49913 votes.
In percentage terms, the victory margin was 31.32 percent.The constituency polled 159421 votes in the 2016 West Bengal assembly polls with a voter turnout of 67.13 percent.The Darjeeling constituency has a literacy level of 79.92 percent.A total of 5 candidates stood in the 2016 elections.
