Habibpur is an Assembly constituency in the Malda district, in the North Bengal region of West Bengal.
The Habibpur constituency went to polls on April 26, 2021. The assembly seat is reserved for the Scheduled Tribe category.

In the 2016 Assembly elections, Habibpur was won by Khagen Murmu of TMC. Before that, in the 2011 elections, the seat was held by Khageneral Murmu of CPIM.
In the 2016 assembly polls, Khagen Murmu garnered 64095 votes, securing over 34.76 percent of the vote share, and winning the seat by a margin of 2512 votes. In percentage terms, the victory margin was 1.36 percent.
The constituency polled 184479 votes in the 2016 West Bengal assembly polls with a voter turnout of 82.69 percent.
The Habibpur constituency has a literacy level of 62.71 percent. A total of 10 candidates stood in the 2016 elections.
