Irikkur is an Assembly constituency in the Kannur district, in the Malabar region of Kerala.

In the 2016 Assembly elections, Irikkur was won by K C Joseph of CPI.

Before that, in the 2011 elections, the seat was held by K. C. Joseph of INC.

In the 2016 assembly polls, KC Joseph garnered 72548 votes, securing over 49 percent of the vote share, and winning the seat by a margin of 9647 votes.

In percentage terms, the victory margin was 6.52 percent.

The constituency polled 148078 votes in the 2016 Kerala assembly polls with a voter turnout of 78.59 percent.

The Irikkur constituency has a literacy level of 95.41 percent.

A total of 10 candidates stood in the 2016 elections.
