Kumargram is an Assembly constituency in the Alipurduar district, in the North Bengal region of West Bengal.

In the 2016 Assembly elections, Kumargram was won by James Kujur of TMC. Before that, in the 2011 elections, the seat was held by Dasrath Tirkey of RSP.In the 2016 assembly polls, James Kujur garnered 77668 votes, securing over 37.27 percent of the vote share, and winning the seat by a margin of 6153 votes.
In percentage terms, the victory margin was 2.95 percent. The constituency polled 208422 votes in the 2016 West Bengal assembly polls with a voter turnout of 85.64 percent.The Kumargram constituency has a literacy level of 64.7 percent.A total of 7 candidates stood in the 2016 elections.
