Palashipara is an Assembly constituency in the Nadia district, in the South East Bengal region of West Bengal.

In the 2016 Assembly elections, Palashipara was won by Tapas Kumar Saha of TMC. Before that, in the 2011 elections, the seat was held by S.M. Sadi of CPIM.
In the 2016 assembly polls, Tapas Kumar Saha garnered 82127 votes, securing over 44.99 percent of the vote share, and winning the seat by a margin of 5559 votes. In percentage terms, the victory margin was 3.05 percent.
The constituency polled 182697 votes in the 2016 West Bengal assembly polls with a voter turnout of 83.74 percent.
The Palashipara constituency has a literacy level of 75.58 percent. A total of 8 candidates stood in the 2016 elections.
