Parassala is an Assembly constituency in the Thiruvananthapuram district, in the Travancore region of Kerala.

The Parassala constituency went to polls on April 6, 2021.

The assembly seat is reserved for the General category.

In the 2016 Assembly elections, Parassala was won by C.K.Hareendrakumar (C.K.Hareendran) of CPIM.

Before that, in the 2011 elections, the seat was held by A.T. George of INC.

In the 2016 assembly polls, C.K.Hareendrakumar (C.K.Hareendran) garnered 70156 votes, securing over 44.41 percent of the vote share, and winning the seat by a margin of 18566 votes.

In percentage terms, the victory margin was 11.75 percent.

The constituency polled 157988 votes in the 2016 Kerala assembly polls with a voter turnout of 75.17 percent.

The Parassala constituency has a literacy level of 92.66 percent.

A total of 10 candidates stood in the 2016 elections.
