Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today addressed the state chief ministers on the reopening of the economy post the COVID pandemic. Prime Minister said that India is among those countries that have seen fewer deaths due to COVID-19. He added that 'Unlock 1' has shown that if we follow rules then there will be minimal damage due to COVID.

He also emphasized the importance of social distancing and the use of face masks to keep COVID-19 at bay as reopening picks up steam.
