The Election Commission announced the poll schedule for the Rajasthan Assembly Election 2023 on Monday, October 9. The assembly elections in the state will take place in a single phase on November 23. The counting of votes for the 200-member assembly will take place on December 3. Currently, the state is ruled by Congress with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot at the helm. The state is witnessing a direct contest between BJP and Congress.
The state has a history of not letting the incumbent return to power.
The tenure of the current Assembly will end on January 14, 2024.
