Raninagar is an Assembly constituency in the Murshidabad district, in the South East Bengal region of West Bengal.

In the 2016 Assembly elections, Raninagar was won by Firoza Begam (E) of AIFB. Before that, in the 2011 elections, the seat was held by Firoza Begam of INC.
In the 2016 assembly polls, Firoza Begam (E) garnered 111132 votes, securing over 58.47 percent of the vote share, and winning the seat by a margin of 48382 votes. In percentage terms, the victory margin was 25.45 percent.
The constituency polled 190156 votes in the 2016 West Bengal assembly polls with a voter turnout of 84.89 percent.
The Raninagar constituency has a literacy level of 67.53 percent. A total of 7 candidates stood in the 2016 elections.
