Telangana will go to polls on November 30. A survey has predicted a close contest between the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) and Congress for the 119-member Telangana Assembly.
The result will be declared on December 3, along with results for four other states that are going to polls, Rajasthan, Mizoram, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.
The ABP C-Voter survey has predicted a hung Assembly in the southern state with the BRS likely to win 43-55 seats, the Congress party at 48-60 seats and BJP just 5-11.
Apart from these three parties, the Telugu Desam Party and Jana Sena have formed an alliance in the state for the upcoming polls.
Currently, the BRS is in power in the state with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at the helm. The BRS has released its complete list of candidates. The Congress is yet to release its candidates' list.
Voting will begin in Mizoram on November 7. Madhya Pradesh will go to polls on November 17, Rajasthan on November 23, and Chhattisgarh will go to polls in two phases on November 7 and 17.
