Brand Karnataka will not be impacted by the violence at Wistron's plant, said Jagadish Shettar, Minister for Large and Medium Industries of Karnataka.

“We are in touch with them. All the industries in Karnataka – we have given protection. The company has given the statement and as early as possible, they are going to start the operation,” he said in an interview with CNBC-TV18's Mugdha Variyar.

“One incident will not affect the entire state,” he said.
