VIP Industries on Wednesday said that it does not expect any revival in sales until the operations of airlines and railways normalise.
“We are part of the travel industry and unless the airlines and the trains start operating in a big manner, I don’t think we are going to see much movement," said Dilip Piramal, chairman of VIP Industries, in an interview with CNBC-TV18.
“This quarter is a washout but we hope that in the next quarter things should improve. The country is coming to terms with living with COVID-19 and more and more activities are getting back to the normal,” he added
Speaking about brands, he said, “Our brands are very good and very strong. So there is no question of closing down any brands.”
