Employees at McLeod Russel's Kolkata headquarters have not received their salaries for the last few months, sources told CNBC-TV18. This comes on the back of financial stress in the group.

Salaries for at least two months have not been paid, said the sources, adding that many employees at the headquarters are now forced to look at other opportunities.

The company has been under financial stress over the last few years. This week, the stock has fallen 30 percent while it has slipped 55 percent this year.
