TTK Prestige, which manufactures kitchen appliances, expects double-digit margins in the second quarter, however, the company is uncertain about achieving the same for the year, said TT Jagannathan, Chairman of the firm.

TTK Prestige has forayed into a new category. The company has launched stainless steel casseroles in two variants.

While giving more details about this new category, TT Jagannathan said, “We are looking at a very strong market, actually we have lots of differentiated casseroles which are very good looking and we are looking at about Rs 50 crore in two years.”

Speaking about demand, he said, “This time I am shocked and surprised, we are not able to produce enough. Our factories are operating 100 percent and it is across the board and across the country.”

Speaking about further capex plans, he said, “We are investing in our manufacturing capacity and it is just beginning days, we will confirm our plans by about December.”
