Air Force, JOMIS, and T6 Complete First Fielding of Modernized Health Care Delivery Platform at Al Dhafra Air Base
Nov 17, 2025 10:26 AM

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

The first operational use of the modernized Health Care Delivery (HCD) Platform has been achieved with its recent deployment at Al Dhafra Air Base. In coordination with the Air Force Medical Command (AFMEDCOM), the Joint Operational Medicine Information Systems (JOMIS) Program Management Office, Air Force Central Command (AFCENT), and T6 Health Systems, the updated platform fielded as part of a broader effort to modernize digital medical capabilities in operational environments.

This initial deployment marked the debut of the Care Delivery Platform (CDP) - the modernized HCD component - and its first operational use within the Department of War. The upgraded system replaces legacy tools such as AHLTA-T and TC2, introducing a secure digital health record designed to support care in both deployed and garrison settings.

Al Dhafra Air Base served as the pilot site based on its strategic importance, mature medical operations, and strong command and clinical engagement.

As part of the fielding, T6 technology is now active with the U.S. Air Force at Al Dhafra Air Base, supporting the modernization of medical technology across operational settings. In collaboration with JOMIS, T6 contributes to ensuring that data and care connect seamlessly from the field through the broader military health system.

Throughout the pilot, the fielding team gathered real-time performance data and frontline input from medical personnel and commanders. These insights enabled immediate corrective actions during the fielding period and will guide JOMIS and AFOMIS as they refine engineering, sustainment, and future deployment strategies.

The findings from Al Dhafra now inform the modernization roadmap for deployed medical systems across the Department of War. The results of this pilot will shape upcoming updates to the HCD Platform and ensure that subsequent fieldings are operationally aligned, technically validated, and responsive to end-user needs in mission environments.
