Ecommerce giant Amazon has announced a new variant of the echo input speaker called 'Echo Input Portable Edition’ for the Indian customers.

The speaker comes with a 4,800 mah battery and a USB 2.0 port for charging. Its battery can last for 10 hours on playback and 11 hours on standby. The device has downward-facing speakers and four microphones on top.

It has a Bluetooth output instead of an aux output. 'Echo Input Portable' connects over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Amazon suggests using the speaker indoors for Alexa's better performance. Echo Input Portable will be launched on December 18 and is available for pre-order on Amazon.
