Apple, Samsung Dominate Q1 Smartphone Sales, Counterpoint Research Says

11:10 AM EDT, 05/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) dominated the global smartphone market in Q1, claiming the top four spots, Counterpoint Research said Tuesday.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max was the best-selling smartphone, and four variants of the iPhone 15 were in the top 10, Counterpoint said.

Samsung's Galaxy S24 series had two spots in the top 10 with variants holding the other two spots, Counterpoint said.

Seven of the top 10 smartphones were priced for wholesale at $600 and above, the research company said.
