Bloom Energy Corporation ( BE ) has strengthened its partnership with Equinix Inc. ( EQIX ) , expanding its power solutions to over 100MW for IBX data centers across the U.S.
With 75MW already in operation and an additional 30MW under development, the collaboration has grown significantly, supporting the increasing energy demands of AI-driven computing and reinforcing critical digital infrastructure.
Bloom's fuel cells enable Equinix ( EQIX ) to generate cleaner on-site power, reducing pollution, eliminating water use, and mitigating grid capacity constraints. Currently, these fuel cells supplement grid power at 19 Equinix IBX data centers across six states, providing a scalable and reliable energy solution.

David Rinard, Vice President of Energy Operations at Equinix ( EQIX ), emphasized the increasing role of alternative energy technologies in meeting rising power demands. He highlighted Bloom's fuel cells as a cost-effective solution for generating cleaner, more reliable on-site electricity at Equinix ( EQIX ) data centers.
