Boxlight Brings Symphony to Every Space With the New Symphonic Series
Jun 4, 2026 6:19 AM

Solo, Tempo, and Vista combine premium audio, intercom, synchronized clocks, visual messaging, and emergency communication into a single intelligent endpoint platform

DULUTH, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Boxlight Corporation ( BOXL ) , a leading provider of educational technology and campus communication solutions, today announced the launch of the Boxlight Symphonic Series — a new family of intelligent IP communication endpoints designed to extend the Boxlight Symphony platform into every classroom, hallway, office, cafeteria, gymnasium, and shared space across campus.

The Symphonic Series unifies bells, paging, intercom, synchronized clocks, visual messaging, digital signage, and emergency alerts into one centrally managed platform. Rather than deploying separate clocks, speakers, signage systems, and communication devices from multiple vendors, schools can now consolidate those functions into a single integrated ecosystem powered by Symphony.

Built specifically for K–12 environments, the Symphonic Series combines premium audio performance, two-way communication, modern industrial design, and advanced visual capabilities in a category-defining endpoint platform designed for both everyday operations and emergency response.

One Platform. Every Space.

Unlike fragmented legacy systems, Symphony connects classroom audio, digital signage, visual alerts, intercom, and campus communication without middleware or third-party integration layers. Every Symphonic endpoint operates on the same infrastructure and management platform as the broader Symphony ecosystem — allowing schools to manage campus communication through one interface, one system, and one trigger.

Each Symphonic device functions as a complete communication node, combining:

High-output audio for bells, paging, and alerts

Two-way intercom communication

RGB LED visual alert indicators

Integrated digital signage capabilities

Synchronized network clock functionality

Optional situational awareness camera support

Every device is directly reachable from the school phone system through Symphony, enabling real-time two-way communication with classrooms and campus spaces.

Visual messaging is driven locally on the campus network rather than relying on continuous internet connectivity, minimizing bandwidth usage while ensuring alerts, clocks, announcements, and signage continue operating even during internet outages.

Additionally, every Symphonic endpoint includes its own built-in digital signage player with HDMI output support, allowing schools to extend visuals, alerts, and messaging to secondary displays without requiring additional hardware or media players.

Three Form Factors. One Unified Experience.

Symphonic Solo

A compact audio-first endpoint optimized for paging, intercom, bells, and emergency communication in classrooms and common areas. Solo delivers exceptional sound clarity and coverage through a sleek PoE+ powered design with integrated visual alerting.

Symphonic Tempo

Tempo adds a 12.3-inch integrated LCD display that functions as both a synchronized campus clock and a visual communication endpoint. During alerts or announcements, the display instantly transitions to messaging, notifications, or emergency instructions — eliminating the need for separate clock and signage systems.

Symphonic Vista

Designed for hallways, cafeterias, gyms, and large shared spaces, Vista features a 21.5-inch display optimized for highly visible campus-wide messaging, synchronized clock display, and emergency communication while maintaining the full Symphony communication feature set.

Designed for the Future of Campus Communication

The Symphonic Series reflects Boxlight’s continued expansion into integrated campus communication infrastructure, giving schools the flexibility to deploy Symphony as a complete instructional and communication ecosystem or as a standalone campus communication solution.

“Schools have been forced to manage disconnected communication systems for years,” said Shawn Wheeler, Product Manager, Campus Solutions at Boxlight ( BOXL ). “The Symphonic Series changes that by combining premium audio, synchronized clocks, intercom, visual messaging, signage, and emergency communication into one integrated platform that is easier to deploy, easier to manage, and significantly more capable than traditional standalone systems.”

“The Symphonic Series is a gamechanger for K–12 communication infrastructure. The level of integration, audio quality, visual capability, and operational simplicity is unlike anything else available in the education market today.” Mark Spencer, D.A.T.

Availability

The Boxlight Symphonic Series is available for order now through authorized Boxlight ( BOXL ) channel partners, with hardware shipping beginning Summer 2026. Attendees can experience the full Symphony platform at ISTE 2026 in Orlando, Florida — Booth 2314.
