China says to consider exemptions for Nexperia chip exports
Oct 31, 2025 7:14 PM

BEIJING, Nov 1 (Reuters) - China will consider

exemptions for chip exports affected by the Dutch government's

seizure of Nexperia, a commerce ministry spokesperson said on

Saturday.

"The Dutch government's improper intervention in corporate

internal affairs has led to current disruptions in global supply

chains," the spokesperson said in a statement published on the

ministry's website.

"We welcome companies facing difficulties to contact

commerce authorities. We will comprehensively consider

companies' actual situations and exempt exports that meet the

conditions."
