In this episode of Disruptors, CNBC-TV18 brings you the success story of Jaspreet Singh, the man behind cloud platform, Druva. The company is a SaaS-based platform that protects and manages enterprise data across endpoint, data centre and cloud workloads.
In 2012, Singh decided to move the company to the US, the world’s biggest software enterprise market. Later, the company joined the Unicorn Club in July 2019.
"Most good companies are built on one unfair advantage and not doing everything but doing one thing really well, which nobody else has placed their bets on,” said Singh, founder and chief executive officer of Druva.
“At Druva, we believe that private cloud is simply a bad joke. The biggest growth is still coming from the migration to public cloud and it is important for us to place our bets on a few interesting trends which are growing in the future than may be shrinking in the future," he added.
