Strategic communications leader brings large-enterprise best practices with start-up speed and agility.

HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Everfox, the global defense technology company delivering trusted information and high-assurance cybersecurity solutions for mission-critical environments, today announced the appointment of Maureen Stevens as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer (CCAO).

In this role, Stevens will lead Everfox’s enterprise corporate affairs strategy overseeing corporate communications, government relations, executive and employee communications, media relations, and corporate reputation management. She will serve as a senior advisor to the CEO and executive team on external affairs, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications aligned with Everfox’s long-term growth objectives.

Stevens brings more than 25 years of senior leadership experience across aerospace, defense, cybersecurity, and other high-tech industries. She has led global communications, marketing, public affairs, and executive visibility programs for some of the world’s most influential technology companies, as well as several high-growth start‑ups.

“Maureen brings a combination of strategic communications expertise, national security insight, and leadership experience across several highly respected companies,” said Everfox Chairman and CEO Dave Wajsgras. “Her ability to shape clear, credible narratives and strengthen corporate reputation will play a critical role as Everfox continues to grow and support our customers’ most critical missions.”

“Everfox has built a remarkable reputation for enabling customers to securely move, share, and use their information in demanding mission environments,” said Stevens. “I’m honored to join the company at such an exciting moment and look forward to partnering with Dave, the leadership team, and employees across the organization to deepen our engagement with customers, government stakeholders, and partners while further strengthening Everfox’s position as the trusted mission data platform.”

Stevens most recently served as Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications for SES, where she led global marketing, communications, and public relations for the satellite and space solutions company. Following SES’s acquisition of Intelsat, she led the launch of the new SES brand across major global markets, elevated executive visibility, and drove integrated campaigns that strengthened market awareness. Prior to the acquisition, she served as Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications at Intelsat.

Stevens also held senior communications and public relations roles at Raytheon Technologies (now RTX) where she directed cross-enterprise international communications for the aerospace and defense giant and managed global change communications during the Raytheon-UTC merger. Earlier, she led business communications and media relations for Raytheon Intelligence, Information & Services, earning industry recognition for elevating the company’s cyber brand.
