Online retailer Flipkart has joined hands with Visa to launch Visa Safe Click (VSC), a new payment solution. VSC will replace one-time password for transactions up to Rs 2,000 on Flipkart.

By allowing Flipkart to use India’s first in-app, device-based network authentication solution, VSC will follow a safe payment procedure and reduce the steps for its consumers.

It will also help Flipkart overcome challenges like cart abandonment connectivity and incorrect passwords. Flipkart aims to reach regions with sparse internet connectivity and e-literacy through VSC.
