Former Pentagon, U.S. Air Force/Space Force and State Department advisor brings more than 15 years of experience spanning telecommunications, electromagnetic spectrum, 5G/6G, secure communications, emerging technologies and international negotiations

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

FreeCast, Inc. ( CAST ) , a next-generation streaming and media technology company, today announced that it has engaged FutureInnoX, LLC, led by Dr. Nathalia Gillot, as a strategic consultant to support the Company’s telecommunications, satellite connectivity, emerging technology, government-sector and global business development initiatives.

The engagement adds extensive U.S. national-security and international telecommunications experience as FreeCast ( CAST ) expands the application of its Platform-as-a-Service (“PaaS”) technology across satellite, wireless, broadband and next-generation connectivity environments.

Dr. Gillot brings more than 15 years of leadership experience across the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force/Space Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense, U.S. Department of State and other national-security organizations. Her background includes telecommunications modernization, electromagnetic spectrum strategy, 5G and emerging 6G policy, secure communications, technology acquisition, global partnerships and critical communications infrastructure.

Her experience includes serving as a Senior Program Manager with the U.S. Air Force/Space Force Rapid Capabilities Office at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, where she led acquisition and integration efforts involving advanced communications systems and AI-enabled platforms and advised senior government leadership on emerging technology and critical communications infrastructure. She previously served as a senior advisor within the DoD Chief Information Officer’s Electromagnetic Spectrum Enterprise Policy & Programs organization, supporting global spectrum strategy, 5G/6G regulatory frameworks, interference mitigation and secure technology modernization.

Dr. Gillot also brings international diplomatic and negotiation experience from the U.S. Department of State, including work involving NATO allies, G7 partners, the United Nations Security Council and U.S. national-security organizations. Her résumé describes work involving global telecommunications investment, spectrum policy, critical communications infrastructure, technology governance and coordination across government, industry and allied partners.

Expertise Aligned With FreeCast's Next Stage

FreeCast ( CAST ) believes this expertise is particularly relevant as the boundaries between satellite, terrestrial wireless, broadband, mobile devices and streaming media continue to converge.

FreeCast's ( CAST ) strategy increasingly positions its technology as a software and services layer that can sit above multiple forms of connectivity, enabling telecommunications, broadband, satellite and other distribution partners to extend entertainment, content discovery, subscription management, advertising and digital services to their customers.

Under the consulting agreement, FutureInnoX would provide FreeCast ( CAST ) with strategic consulting, technology advisory, business development, engineering support and related professional services. The agreement specifically identifies capabilities involving government contracting strategy, DoD and NASA opportunity assessment, telecommunications, broadband, satellite communications, wireless infrastructure, emerging connectivity technologies, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, technology commercialization and strategic partnerships.

William Mobley, CEO of FreeCast ( CAST ), said:

“The communications industry is rapidly moving toward a world where satellite, wireless, broadband and media distribution are no longer separate industries. Connectivity is increasingly becoming ubiquitous. The next enormous opportunity is determining what happens after that connection reaches the consumer.”

“Dr. Gillot brings a level of telecommunications, spectrum, defense, international and government experience that is highly complementary to where FreeCast ( CAST ) is headed. Her experience at the Pentagon, with the Air Force and Space Force, and with the State Department provides valuable perspective as we explore opportunities involving satellite communications, next-generation wireless networks, government markets and global connectivity.”

“FreeCast does not need to build the satellite or own the spectrum. Our opportunity is to provide the intelligent media, services and monetization layer that can operate across those networks.”

Dr. Gillot's background also includes experience with Team Telecom, the interagency process associated with national-security review of certain FCC telecommunications matters, as well as foreign investment and telecommunications infrastructure assessments. Her work has included advising senior government leadership regarding spectrum policy, telecommunications modernization, foreign ownership risk, technology transfer and critical communications infrastructure.

From Connectivity to Services

The engagement comes as FreeCast ( CAST ) continues pursuing a broader strategy designed to make its technology applicable across traditional broadband as well as emerging satellite and wireless distribution models.

As connectivity becomes available across more devices and locations, FreeCast ( CAST ) sees an opportunity to provide a common platform through which connectivity providers can offer consumers television, streaming discovery, subscriptions, local content, advertising, commerce and other digital services without having to independently develop a complete media ecosystem.

FutureInnoX's agreement with FreeCast ( CAST ) expressly contemplates advisory work across telecommunications, broadband, satellite communications, wireless infrastructure, emerging connectivity technologies, government opportunities, commercialization planning and strategic alliances, areas FreeCast ( CAST ) believes can complement the Company's expanding PaaS strategy.

Mobley added:

“The strategic question is no longer simply how you connect billions of devices. It is how you create economic value once those devices are connected. We believe FreeCast ( CAST ) can become an important platform at that intersection, and adding world-class expertise in spectrum, satellite communications, defense technology and international telecommunications strengthens our ability to pursue that opportunity.”

Through its Platform-as-a-Service model, FreeCast ( CAST ) seeks to enable telecommunications providers, broadband operators, satellite companies, device manufacturers and other partners to offer branded entertainment and digital media experiences without independently developing the underlying technology infrastructure.
