Facebook has launched an India specific feature 'Candidate Connect' to help voters hear the views of candidates in their constituency.

Facebook will pose four questions to the candidates. Candidates can then post each response via a 20-second video. Facebook says this is a visual guide for voters and will keep them better informed. Videos of all contestants in a constituency will show up on the timelines of people in that area.
