Tech giant Google on Thursday unexpectedly released the design of its upcoming Pixel 4 phone on Twitter, confirming the release of the upgraded version of its Pixel phone series.
The picture shows that the phone is likely to have a square camera bump, with multiple rear cameras.

Tech experts and news reports had earlier anticipated that Pixel 4 would release in October. However, now that Google has already given away its design, it is possible that the new phone could release before October, and ahead of the release of the new iPhone, which is expected to release in September.
Google released Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL in October last year. In May, the firm released the affordable version of the phones — Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL.
According to several reports, Pixel 4 has two speaker grills on the edge at either side of the USB-C port and volume and power on the right-hand side of the phone. As per rumours, the phone will have a fingerprint scanner and buttons on the left side.
It is also believed that the Pixel 4 XL could have two back cameras, making it four in total and is likely to run on the operating system Android Q.
The speculation comes even as the firm is working on its new operating system, Android Q, which is likely to have a system-wide dark mode, new permissions features, upgraded and improved facial recognition and better security.
