Ahead of Google’s launch event on October 4, features and promo video of the highly anticipated Google Pixel Watch 2 have been leaked. As per the exclusive information of Google Pixel Watch 2 shared by Kamila Wojciechowska with 91mobiles, the Pixel Watch 2 will be entering the market with a series of upgraded features than its predecessor.

The detailed look of the watch has also been revealed in the leaked promo. As per the promo, the Pixel Watch 2 will be coming with a redesigned back that houses three new sensors. Google has also used a 100 percent aluminium body for the Pixel Watch 2. The upcoming watch will be available in four colour combinations:- Polished Silver/Bay, Matte Black/Obsidian, Champagne Gold/Hazel and Polished Silver/Porcelain. Google Pixel Watch 2 will also feature new Metal Slim and Active Sport bands.

According to the latest leaked information, the Pixel Watch 2 will be equipped with Fitbit’s multi-path heart rate sensor that is said to offer more accurate and robust heart-rate measurement even during exercise. Apart from that, it will also use Fitbit’s stress management system which uses body-response tracking to detect stress in the user’s body.

Additionally, Google will be using body-response tracking inputs from CEDA (continuous electro-dermal activity – microscopic beads of sweat) to detect stress levels through heart rate variability, heart rate and skin temperature. Besides, the Pixel Watch 2 can detect seven common workouts.

Google has upgraded the safety features on the Pixel Watch 2 as well. Safety Check feature will help the users to schedule a timer for certain situations. Once the timer is out, the watch will confirm with the user and in case of no response, it will trigger ‘Emergency Sharing’ that will share the real-time location and situation with emergency contacts.

As of now, it is expected that the Pixel Watch 2 is going to have a battery life of 24 hours along with an always-on display. It’s also said to get a full day’s charge in just 75 minutes.

Apart from the Pixel Watch 2, Google is also going to launch one of the most awaited smartphones of this year, the Pixel 8 series, at its upcoming event.
