05:50 AM EST, 01/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Guidewire Software ( GWRE ) will replace Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals ( ARWR ) in the S&P MidCap 400, as the latter will move to the S&P SmallCap 600, effective before the market opens on Monday, S&P Dow Jones Indices said Wednesday.

The reshuffling follows Apollo Global Management ( APO ) acquiring Barnes Group ( B ) , which Arrowhead will replace in the SmallCap index.

Apollo's acquisition of Barnes Group ( B ) is expected to close soon, pending final conditions.
