Graduates contributed to the success of The Studio, Hacks, and The Pitt, with producer Jesse Sternbaum earning an individual Emmy Award.

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 15, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Eight distinguished alumni from The Los Angeles Film School made their mark at this year's Emmy Awards, helping to bring home 18 total wins across three acclaimed series: The Studio, Hacks, and The Pitt.

Notably, The Studio dominated the night with a record-breaking 13 Emmy wins in its first season, thanks in part to alumni Jesse Sternbaum, Adam Mull, and Allen Aguilar. Sternbaum, a producer for the series, was individually recognized for the show's win in the Outstanding Comedy Series category.

Four L.A. Film School alumni including Stephanie Goldstein, Brice Bradley, Yermin (Randy) Garcia and Jamiel VanOver contributed to HBO's hit comedy Hacks, which earned two Emmy Awards. Meanwhile, medical drama The Pitt scored three Emmy wins, with alum Alexander Jongbloed credited as a foley mixer.

Leading into the ceremony, The L.A. Film School boasted 32 nominated alumni who contributed on 22 nominated projects. Two past Emmy-winners, Editor/Producer John Valerio for The White Lotus and Cinematographer Joshua Gitersonke for The Amazing Race, were personally nominated for Emmy awards this year as well. The college is proud of its nominated and award-winning graduates' continued excellence in the Entertainment industry, further setting the standard for future L.A. Film School alumni.
