Indian smartphone brand Lava on Tuesday announced the launch of its latest smartphone, the Lava Blaze Pro 5G, priced at Rs 12,499.

The device features a 6.78-inch display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM, which can be virtually expanded to 16GB and has 128GB of storage. The storage can also be expanded up to 1TB with a microSD card.

On the back, the Blaze Pro 5G houses a 50MP dual-camera setup and an 8MP sensor with screen flash on the front for selfies and video calls.

It has a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh with support for charging speeds up to 33W and a charger included in the box. The smartphone also features a headphone jack for those who still believe in the power of wired earphones.

The device will run on Android 13 out of the box and Lava claims that the OS is bloatware free. It will be available in two colour options — Starry Night and Radiant Pearl — with a colour-changing back panel.

The Lava Blaze Pro 5G will be available for sale from October 3 on Lava’s retail network and on Amazon.

Lava also released a 4G variant of the Blaze Pro, which launched in September last year, running on Android 12.
