Menlo Security Named to the 2026 Inc. 5000 as Enterprises Race to Secure AI Agents

The company’s placement reflects rising enterprise demand for a Browser Security Platform that governs both humans and autonomous AI agents

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Menlo Security, the leader in Browser Security for human and agentic workforces, today announced that it has been named to the 2026 Inc. 5000, Inc.’s annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America.

The Inc. 5000 award ranks U.S.-based private companies by percentage of revenue growth over a three-year period.

The recognition arrives as the AI cybersecurity landscape undergoes its most significant shift in a decade: the rise of the agentic workforce. Gartner projects that by the end of 2026, 40 percent of enterprise applications will include task-specific AI agents, up from less than 5 percent in 2025. Enterprises now govern both human employees and the autonomous AI agents running inside their systems at machine speed. Those agents open a new class of attacks and widen the enterprise threat landscape. Menlo Security is governing the browser where agents execute, treating humans and agents as equal participants.

"Enterprises are adding AI agents to their workforce faster than they can secure them, and those agents do their work in the browser,” said Bill Robbins, CEO at Menlo Security. “Our growth reflects that reality. We now protect more than 8 million human users and millions of AI agent sessions for over 1,000 enterprises, and that number keeps climbing.”

Menlo Security's Inc. 5000 recognition follows a run of momentum this year. In February 2026, the company appointed Bill Robbins, a 30-year security industry veteran, as CEO. Soon after, Menlo Security launched the industry's first Browser Security Platform purpose-built to govern AI agents, and was named the 2026 Google Cloud Security Partner of the Year in the Data Protection category, its second consecutive year of recognition. Earlier this month at Black Hat USA, Menlo Security expanded Menlo Agent Runtime Security (MARS) to secure AI assistants and coding agents, including Microsoft Copilot, Gemini in Chrome, and Claude Code, against prompt injection and data exfiltration.
