Lawyer Khushbu Jain said that they had filed a petition against Microsoft.

They wanted the government to look into the matter and investigate at what extent the Microsoft has taken away the data and given to foreign people.

“We are looking forward for a proper legislation to come up and in absence of the legislation being come up in place, we want restriction over Microsoft over collection of unauthorised data,” Jain told CNBC-TV18.
