TAIPEI, July 10 (Reuters) - Taiwan's King Yuan Electronics
(KYEC), a major chip testing supplier to Nvidia ( NVDA )
, said on Friday that its board had approved a plan to
invest up to $1.4 billion to establish a facility in the United
States.
King Yuan said the investment is intended to support
operational growth and strengthen its position in the global
supply chain.
The company did not disclose the location of the planned
factory or provide a construction timetable.
