French has also served as the CEO of Cirrus Logic, where he led the company's transformation into a global leader in mixed-signal audio solutions. In addition, he’s held various senior-level positions at Texas Instruments and Analog Devices.

French’s appointment follows the resignation of Jeff Schnitzer, the company’s prior President and CEO, in August 2025.
