10:20 AM EDT, 07/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- OpenText , an information management company, and TELUS , a communications technology company, on Wednesday launched the OpenText and TELUS Canadian Sovereign Cloud, a purpose-built, enterprise-ready solution that runs entirely within TELUS' Canadian data centers.

The companies said with this offering, Canadian customers have access to enterprise grade cloud and AI capabilities, while ensuring complete data 'sovereignty' -- "with every application, dataset, computation and network operation remaining securely within Canadian borders".

The OpenText and TELUS Canadian Sovereign Cloud will be available starting September for commercial and government customers across Canada.

Separately, OpenText said it will join global cybersecurity leaders at Black Hat USA 2025 to "showcase how organizations can protect identities, detect advanced threats, and respond with greater speed and precision."
