Companies throughout the industry are preparing to share traceability data with multiple customers through easy-to-use ReposiTrak Traceability Network

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

ReposiTrak ( TRAK ) , the world’s largest food traceability and regulatory compliance network, leveraging its established inventory management and out-of-stock reduction SaaS platform, announces the addition of 22 companies, including produce suppliers and plant-based meal producers, to the ReposiTrak Traceability Network®. These companies will efficiently exchange intricate, FDA-required Key Data Elements (KDEs) for each Critical Tracking Event (CTE) in their supply chains, with the goal of meeting the growing traceability demands of their retail customers.

The companies in the queue to use ReposiTrak ( TRAK ) for food traceability data sharing include a globally recognized plant-based innovator known for its bold, chef-crafted meals that bring vibrant flavor to vegan cuisine. Also participating is a pioneering frozen dessert company that uses extra virgin olive oil as a creamy base for its better-for-you, dairy-free ice creams inspired by Mediterranean traditions. Joining them is a California-based industry leader in fresh avocados and value-added foods, celebrated for its commitment to quality, freshness and sustainability across its produce and prepared product lines. Rounding out the group is a family-owned company offering wholesome, small-batch soup mixes made with natural ingredients and no preservatives, helping home cooks serve hearty, homemade-style meals.

“Produce suppliers and those who use produce as ingredients in the foods they make will face a number of hurdles while working traceability data sharing into their business. These hurdles include meeting the unique requirements of every customer, technical challenges and data integrity issues,” said ReposiTrak ( TRAK ) Chairman and CEO Randy Fields. “We know from helping thousands of suppliers that it can take months to find the data, detect and correct errors, and share the data consistently with every customer according to their requirements. Suppliers can overcome these hurdles alone, but we’re also here to help.”

Produce suppliers can learn more about the hurdles of food traceability by watching ReposiTrak’s recent webinar From Field to Fork: How Produce Suppliers Can Actually Deliver the Traceability That Customers Expect.

The ReposiTrak Traceability Network requires no additional hardware. Every traceability data file is checked using a 500+ point error detection process and ReposiTrak’s U.S.-based team works with food manufacturers and suppliers to make corrections, so that the data is as complete and accurate as possible before it reaches their retail, wholesale or foodservice customers.
