Samsung Galaxy S24 Rumours: OneUI 6.1 might bring major AI features to the flagship series
Oct 11, 2023 10:03 AM

After Google with its recent Pixel 8 devices, Samsung is likely to go big on artificial intelligence on its next series of flagship devices, the Galaxy S24.

According to reliable tipster Ice Universe, OneUI 6.1, the Android 14-based skin that the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will run on, will bring many new AI features to the smartphones along with a reportedly new virtual assistant, which is expected to be more powerful than Bixby — that is assuming there are some people who consider Bixby “powerful”.

One UI 6.1 and the Galaxy S24 series bring many new AI features, AI more powerful than Bixby, and Samsung’s largest AI update in history.Maybe Samsung will call the Galaxy S24 an AI phone.

Ice Universe also suspects that Samsung might just call the Galaxy S24 an AI phone and believes that this might be the biggest AI update in Samsung’s history. Given the direction in which the industry is headed with all major tech giants going all in with AI, it could very well be possible.

Rumours also suggest that the improvements on the Galaxy S24 series will be huge and might also change the way Samsung’s future smartphones function. If this does come true, it will interesting to see how Samsung implements the changes and how the AI features will be different from those on the Pixel 8 series.

Currently, only the Pixel devices have received the stable version of the Android 14. Samsung’s OneUI 6 is currently under beta testing and Samsung claims that it will be out by the end of this year.

With all the leaks floating around the Galaxy S24 series, it seems like it will be borrowing bits and pieces of both the iPhone 15 Pro series — with its rumoured titanium body and flatter sides — and the Pixel 8 series — with its major AI updates as Ice Universe suggested.
