PORT-AU-PRINCE (Reuters) - Digicel, one of Haiti's main internet providers, reported a series of outages on Wednesday caused by a fire near the capital and affecting services across the country, according to the company's top local executive.

"Our teams are mobilized to resolve the problem as quickly as possible," Haiti director Jean-Philippe Brun wrote on X.

Digicel is one of the Caribbean country's main operators alongside state provider NATCOM.
