1. US: US has the most number of Twitter users at 49.45 million as of April 2019.
2. Japan: Japan ranks second with 38.35 million Twitter users.
3. UK: The UK comes in third with 14.1 million tweeples. The platform has become a way to promote policies and most leaders have a Twitter account where they interact with citizens and other officials.
4. Saudi Arabia: According to Statista, Saudi Arabia ranks fourth with 10.19 million users.
5. Russia: Russia ranks fifth with 9.91 million tweeples.
6. Brazil: Brazil ranks sixth with 8.57 million Twitter users.
7. Turkey: Turkey recorded 8.56 million Twitter users in April 2019.
8. India: India ranks eighth with 7.86 million tweeples. During the recently-concluded Lok Sabha elections, Twitter recorded 400 million tweets.
9. Mexico: Mexico recorded 7.09 million users in April 2019.
10. Spain: Spain had 6.34 million Twitter users in April.
